Who are Clear Accountancy Solutions?

We’re a specialist accountancy provider working almost exclusively with contractors and small businesses. Some of the former have grown to become the latter and we like to think we had a hand in that

How much work is involved?

Typically we would say no more than 20 minutes a week, if you have a single invoice everyweek and only a few standard expenses then possibly even less. And with the extra money you could potentially take home it will be the highest paid 20 minutes of the week.

What kind of support will I get?

You will have you own personal account manager, who will work as closely with you as you need. They will be on hand to answer your questions and queries via email or phone (you are also welcome to come and see us). We are with you every step of the way.

What if I stop contracting?

You have a number of options if you stop contracting, it all depends on your intentions. If you intend to contract in the future you may wish to keep the company non-trading or dormant. Alternatively if you will no longer contract the company can be closed down.

How easy is it to switch from another accountants?

There are a number of ways in which you could switch to us, it could be as simple as inputting your opening balances, or we might need to contact your current accountant to arrange a transfer of records. Either way we will do the hard work for you.

How do expenses work?

In a sentence, expenses reduce the companies profit and therefore reduce corporation tax liabilities.

Which bank shall I use for my business bank account?

This is your choice; we tend to find the bank you use personally is the easiest option.

How much will I take home?

There are many variables that can affect this and it depends on your circumstances. If you want to know what your take-home pay will be contact us now and we will work it out for you.

How do you take your fees?

Once you are set up and on your way, we will set up a direct debit from your business account that will debit once a month. Our accountancy fee is also a company expense.

Do I need any insurances?

If you are operating as a business it is likely that you will need some business insurances. Typically these are inexpensive for contractors as the potential risks are minimal.
